Books for Professional Growth
In last week’s post we looked at the books that Karen Gray of the American Cancer Society recommended for personal growth during her recent talk to Young Professionals San Angelo. In this week’s post, we continue with her recommendations but this time for professional growth.
The 8 Secrets of Success by Andy Albright
Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin
The Success Principles by Jack Canfield
The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino
Read and Grow Rich by Burke Hedges
Today Matters by John C. Maxwell
Good to Great by Jim Collins
Wins, Losses and Lessons by Lou Holtz
No Complaining Rule by Jon Gordon
21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership (Revised Edition) by John C. Maxwell
See You at the TOP by Zig Ziglar
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
Goals! by Brian Tracy
First Things First by Brian Tracy
The Aladdin Factor by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen
Karen recommends that you obtain the books on her list in hard copies rather than reading them via eBook. She says having something to hold and go back to and to be able to dog ear the pages makes the message more effective.
Next week we present the podcasts Karen recommends for growth.
