Aegis Counseling
Helping highly motivated people ages 13 and older make positive changes

About

Compassion. Experience. Ethics.

History

Barbara Coleman and Tara Haidinger met in graduate school at Angelo State University while they both were pursuing a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology.  While they both have varied education and life experience, they have a passion for counseling and working with people.

The name Aegis Counseling is inspired by Greek mythology and the goddess Athena.  The Aegis is Athena's breastplate and represents protection, wisdom and comfort.  We strive to embrace these qualities and incorporate them in our practice.
